MARINE SERVICE ADVISOR

POSITION

Full-time Marine Service Advisor to support our Service Team in consistently delivering an outstanding customer experience. Saturdays required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in daily operations including:

    • scheduling and distribution of work for technicians and yard team

    • generating and managing work orders and esitmates

    • preparing invoices

  • Serve as point of contact for service customers

  • Field phone and email inquiries

  • Act as a liaison between technicians and customers

  • Manage warranty program

  • Provide prompt, detailed and timely flow of all paperwork

  • Become an adept user of our Customer Relationship Management system, SmartSheet and other platforms

  • Additional related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as Service Writer or marine / boat knowledge preferred

  • Team player with positive attitude

  • Solid organizational and time management skills

  • Adept problem-solver

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent listener

  • Thrive on systems, process and organization

  • Able to work under time constraints

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication / Internet usage

  • Love being in, on or around the water

CUSTOMER SERVICE CAPTAIN

POSITION

F/T Customer Service Captain to ensure front office operations support our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Weekends required.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set standard for exceptional phone, email & in-person interactions

  • Be frontline ambassador for all things POE

  • Procure and organize insurance documentation for dockage customers and vendors

  • Coordinate pool access program

  • Become adept at computer platforms

  • Monitor and maintain supply inventory for office & campus operations

  • Cashier transactions and open/close register

  • Handle all front office duties

  • Provide ongoing support for service, parts, sales & marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Team player with positive attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer proficient

  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize

  • Curious, excited to learn new things

  • Love being in, on or around the water
